Refurbished Galaxy Note 7 to be launched soon, to be named as Galaxy Note FE.

2016 was a roller coaster year for Samsung, the S7 & S7 Edge which were a total hit and the Note 7 which exploded like random crackers.

The Global recall of the Note 7 was a big step back for all the people who love the S-Pen functionalities of the Note series line-up. And Samsung has not unsung us, they are relaunching the Note 7 in some markets, not globally and it will be named as Galaxy Note FE. A rumour from Korean Website Etnews says that FE stands for Fan Edition.

This may contradict the recent rumours of the phone being named Note 7R (Refurbished) but considering that many people still are afraid of the naming scheme NOTE 7,
Galaxy Note FE makes much sense. Anyways we already know the phone’s specs and it’s just the naming scheme & pricing behind the curtains.

Well, taking this with a grain of salt, considering all the Note 7 memes we saw, FE may be referred as Fire Edition by the fans. Just a pinch. Let’s see what Samsung plans for the Refurbished Note 7. It’s rumoured that Samsung might launch this phone in Chinese and Korean markets, and some other markets like India.

If Samsung could price it little aggressively around $500-$550 (USD) or ₹30k – ₹35k (INR) the Note 7 is a steal deal, worth considering it.

For reference, the Note 7 specifications are
– SnapDragon 820 or Exynos 8890
– 4GB RAM.
– 12MP Rear Camera with Dual Pixel AutoFocus.
– 5MP Front Camera.
– Iris Scanner
– S-Pen.
– USB-C,
– Quick Charge 3.0
